Hi, I am developing a J2ME application which will enable users to subscribe to rss feeds which will be displaye on their mobiles via the j2me app. This will be a subscription based model with permonth charges. The problem I am facing is that how do I prevent a subscribed user to simply forward the app to his friend who can then use it for free, since I have no way of determining the phone number from the j2me app or who is accesssing the feed. Any suggestions as to how NowSMS can be useful in this scenario to prevent distribution? Forward lock is not supported by many phones so I don't think that will be convenient. Applying username/password will also be futile since that can be forwarded too! Is this possible at all? | |||
