I installed nowsms on a pc with windows xp and it works well. However, when I tried to install on a pc with windows 2000 server it does not work. The ok, help and apply do not appear at the windows nowsms software installed on a pc with windows 2000 server. Please, I am waiting for someone who can give me the correct answer. I appologize for my poor english but I hope every one will undestand english is not my first language. I would appreciate your help as I can not run nowsms on windows 2000 server. I attached a print screen thus you can understand the problem. Vale

Hi Vale, I just did a fresh install of NowSMS on a Windows 2000 PC, and I didn't see any problems. Could it be that the screen size of the PC is relatively small? If so, the Ok/Apply/Help buttons can be off the screen. Most notebooks with smaller screens allow you to set the display to a larger virtual size, so that you can scroll it on screen. But I'm not sure about desktops ... with them, you might just have to change the resolution to a higher resolution if possible with your monitor/video card combination. -bn | ||||

It looks like you posted your follow-up while I was typing my message. It does look like the bottom of the dialog box might be cut off because of the screen resolution (although it is strange because I see some background between the bottom of the NowSMS dialog and the taskbar). Is it possible to set your display adapter for a higher resolution? -bn | ||||

Hy Bryce It is true that there is "some background between the bottom of the NowSMS dialog and the taskbar" as you could see on the print screen. The maximum resolution wich my display support is 800 by 600 pixels. What can I do now(sms)? :-) Vale | ||||

Hi Vale, I don't know what else to suggest. I did a fresh install of NowSMS on a Windows 2000 system yesterday, and the buttons showed up properly. Perhaps it has something to do with the font selection in Windows. Under Display Properties/Settings/Advanced, you can often set the font that is used by Windows. I am wondering if that makes some difference. I've honestly never seen this problem before, so I don't know what could be wrong. -bn | ||||
