I've got a Wavecom WMOD2 modem. Wwhen i try to add it to the SMSC it gives a "Modem does not support SMS - ERROR" message. I've tested the modem using a terminal emulator and it does work and actualy sends SMS messages (entering commands by hand). The wavecom is addeds as a standard 9600bps modem. The modem did appear to be added correctly once, but I now continually get this message. | |||

I think I solved my own problem. Firstly I was using a SIM that had a PIN set - not a good idea. It also appears that the Wavecom needs to be reset by unplugging the power. A "Query Modem" check in windows also appeared to help. | |||
