HI there, I am looking for a way to send sms to a TV station from my computer, is there way to do it on the internet? I can do it from my cell phone, all i have to do is enter this number 36288, but it takes me forever to type on message. So if anyone knows a way to do it on the internet, i'd appreciate it. With these types of services, they generally like to collect money for you sending in the SMS ... so they don't make it generally open over the internet. You could install software that connects to your phone as a modem (assuming your phone has built-in modem capability, which not all do) ... and send that way. But that seems like a complicated way to do it to me ... | |||

Hi, There is a number of TV programs in Europe that are presently able to receive SMS and MMS messages from the viewers' phones. The USA is sadly behind the mobile technological times and their only venture into interactive mobile TV has been SMS voting. Hopefully we will be seeing the major company in Europe who has this technology, the entire production back end, as well as the ability for Premium SMS AND Premium MMS billing!
