Hello, one way we are using NowSMS ist to relay received Mails in NowSMS to telephone numbers of our customers. What we would need, is that NOWSMS sends the outgoing SMS from special E-MAil adresses in the MMSC configuration through a special modem! Is there a way to configure a MMSC USer so that the outgoing SMS messages are sent through a special modem?? The only way I know is to configure the modem to send if a special number is taken!?!?! But that is not that comftable, because if I add a new MMSC User I have to add his Number to the modem configuration too! If there is no other way to do that how many routes can I add to the modem configuration?? Best regards Christoph Zierl (MTIT) | |||

Hi Christoph, I can't think of any way to do it other than the way that you are doing it. I just checked on the limit on the number of routes that can be associated with a modem. It is 100. As that number is lower than what I would expect, I have put in an engineering request to increase this number to at least 10000 for a future release. If the limit of 100 is a problem for you, let me know, and I'll see if we can get something out sooner. -bn | |||
