Im at my wits end with OMA Client Provisioning.

I have been trying the Send XML interface for over 3 days now and I cannot get it to send a message to a Nokia 3650 (That it can read)

I hear the phone receiving something but nothing appears in the inbox. When I say hear it receiving, I mean I put the phone near a radio and I get interference as the message is flying thru the ether into the phone.

I have tried umpteen structure of <wap-provisioningdoc> formats. I must be missing something very basic to not get this to work.

Would some kind soul please help me by giveing me an example XML document that definitely does send the provisioning settings for connection to a SyncML application (w5/W5 - Apparently it does not matter. See OMA Series 40 Spec - But I'll stick to the w5 just in case).

I know this is not rocket science, but I feel like a puppy in a kennel full of Dobermans!

All I want to send to the phone is a SyncML DS.

One bit that confuses me greatly is the NAPDEF and BOOTSTRAP requirements.

If the phone already has a an access point defined - Why do I have to send a NAPDEF.

Is the BOOTSTRAP completely necessary?

If you know any of the answers to the above I am prepared to have your kids Mon-Fri until the are 18!

Please......I'm desparate!
