Hi, I am distributing games ( jar files) using the WAP Multimedia Push option. All is working 100% and games are getting pulled smoothly as well. The question is…Is there any way you can determine a phone make/model from an incoming SMS ? Often there is a separate JAR file per game per handset. For example Football_Nok3310.jar or Football_Nok6600.jar etc… We are trying to let a user send one “game code” say for example “football” to us to receive a game, lets say “FootBall 2005”. This will obviously not work as each jar file is tailored to screen sizes and resolution of the specified handsets. Any-one know how to determine the make/model and If this can be done at all ??
