Hello, This is the scenario I am trying to setup. Mobile <------>Modem<--> nowSMS <---SMPP----> Server 1) Mobile M1 sends a message to nowSMS. This message to be received by GPRS modem connected to the system. 2) nowSMS should forward this received message to the backend server connected to nowSMS via SMPP. 3) Server after processing the message should send a response back to nowSMS. 4) nowSMS forward the response to original sender. Config issues -> 1) Is there a limit on the length of the message that can be handled by nowSMS (140 or 160?) 2) How to forward the message to SMPP connection? The commands are only for http and some script to invoke. Is it possible to forward the message directly on smpp connection? 3) Similarly how to forward the response back from server to mobile? I have tried sending a simple msg upto nowSMS and it gets logged in the SMS_IN directory. But no luck in forwarding it to SMPP connection. If I can contact via email, please send the addr.
