I'm having some problems sending SyncML OTA to SonyEricsson phones, the message works on Nokia phones. I have stripped down the message to the minimum requirements but still no success...
Has anyone else had the same problem? Im sending binary wbxml should I use regular XML instead?

Has anyone here a dump of a binary OTA that works on a SonyEricsson phone? That whould help me a lot in my debugging...

Thanks in advance

SonyEricsson phones don't use the OMA format for SyncML OTA. They use the Nokia/Ericsson OTA settings specification v7.1. See http://www.sonyericsson.com/developer.

Well that's what I'm trying to do. But the message isnt delivered to my T610 and it cant be opened on my P800. I have tried both with the NowSMS web interface and with binary messages but none works for me. Thats why it would be great if I could get a correct settings dump so I can debug my stuff.

Try the settings here:

Otherwise, post what you have got, and I will try with some different phones.

N/E OTA works fine on 900 and 910i and k700i. See the other post on here about syncml settings, and enabling Email.
My question is has any body got OMA synml setup to work on
1. Any Moto phone
2. Any Siemens phone
The devices understand the message, since I userpin sign it and they only respond if I enter correct pin. But the Moto phone(tried 3 types) all report Update Failed, and the Siemens creates a parital entry, with just the user name and password. The same prov works perfectly on a number of Nokia devices, although not the 7260.

Also does anybody know if the Email option can be enabled for syncml on a 9500, the text\message mine type which works for 900 & 910i fails as do a number of others, the device just ignors it.
