Hi, just wondering if anyone has experienced having number ones being turned into y's or 4s being turned into an with two dots over it?

If you have, could you let me know why this is happening and how to correct it?

I am using an Ericsson t68i to send with and a 6310i as the gprs modem.

thanks in advance for any help.

That sounds highly unusual. Is this on inbound messages or outbound messages?

If outbound messages, are you submitting them to through the web menu interface, or with direct URL connections?

I'd like to see a debug log to understand what is occurring. Manually edit the SMSGW.INI file, and under the [SMSGW] section header, add the statement: Debug=Yes. Then restart the gateway, repeat your activity where you see this odd behaviour ... and e-mail the SMSDEBUG.LOG file to nowsms@now.co.uk ... and we'll take a look and get back to you.
