Duplicate Messages in Active/Active configuration

We have two systems in an HA Active/Active configuration and on some messages we're sending the message out from both systems at the same time. Are there timer settings or something we can configure to prevent the duplicate messages?

Hi Chris,

We may need to get some more information and debug logs from you, but before we do that, I'd like to ask you to try an update.

The update identifies itself as 2023.06.13.

The update can be applied through the admin web interface, if you edit SMSGW.INI and under the [SMSGW] header add UpdateChannel=beta. Once this setting is applied, go to the Admin/System Configuration page and a button near the top should offer to install the update. (It may be necessary to reload the page a couple times before the update is detected.)

Or, you can download and apply it manually with the following steps:

wget https://nowsms.com/download/linux/beta/nowsms.tar.gz

tar -xvf nowsms.tar.gz

./NowSMSInstall

When prompted, press U to Update.

Des,
We found that the duplicate messages are due to software slowness when trying to use the database even with one instance instead of two. We have significant resources for the host and the database utilizing less than 50% of the resources yet we begin queueing messages when using the database. Once we switched to the local file instead it worked correctly. Do you have any suggestions on what might cause the software to run slower when utilizing the database instead of a local file? Are there any specific database settings on the local host that might cause this delay or any software settings that aren't in the UI?
