Hi guys, Is there a way to configure the maximum content size for a given operator's MM4 connection definition? I know at the server level config there's an option to Enable Image Resizing with two options: 1) Scale to Max Supported Size, or 2) Scale to Device Screen Size. From reading old posts that seems to be related to old school WAP transmissions of images from years ago. Looking inside the /var/lib/nowsms directory I don't even see the NextGen MMSC including the /UAProf subdirectory and the various xml files for devices at all (like the Windows version does), so I don't even know if the Enable Image Resizing option actual does anything anymore. We're going to be adding some various operator MM4 interconnects to the our MMSC, and from reading through various operator's IR21 publications, the maximum size for MM4 messages can vary. Is there a way for the MMSC to resample or scale images to a specific byte limit per MM4 VASPOUT MMSC Connection definition? In the US, we're using a pretty common 1MB limit for attachments. Some devices will further limit MMS attachments to an even smaller size, some can automatically resample/rescale attachments to be smaller prior to sending from the device. The new MM4 connections we're looking to add are in the UK and EU. The limits there are generally much smaller than the US limits we see, for example, EE UK's IR21 MMS Interworking specifies a limit of 300KB, while the Tre(3) operator, also in the UK, specifies their limit as 500KB. Since the MMSC will service both US operators (with their higher 1MB size limits) and UK operators (with their size limit being 1/3 to 1/2 of that size), we're hoping there's a way for the NowSMS MMSC to do this scaling (which it looks like it did in the WAP days). Thanks! //Robert

Hi Robert, Apologies for the delay in response. Under the [VASPOut-name] header in MMSC.INI, you can add a MaxSize=#### parameter, where #### is in KB. When this parameter is present, the MMSC will attempt to scale content down to within the size constraint. Regards, Bryce

Hi Bryce, No worries, I know y'all are busy. Thanks for the info. I will add that parameter to the VASPOut sections and test it out once I get the MM4 connectivtiy information from the networks. Thanks! //Robert
