Hi, I recently downloaded wap3gx and i've set it up to run. It is running but I don't know exactly how to set up the (linksys) router. For port forwarding, i'm supposed to forward something to 9201 rite? what is that something? the field shows ____ to _____ . Second, what ip address would i put down on my phone, the ip address that my computer is given (192.168.1.102)? or do I put the ip of the router/gateway (069.somethin somethin)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. | |||

UDP port 9201 needs to be forwarded from the router to port 9201 on the PC that is running the proxy. The IP address that you configure in your phone would be the IP address of the router. Otherwise, how could the phone make an IP request to your private IP address from the internet? -- Kent Williams Now Wireless Support | |||
