I am hopeful this is the product I have been looking for. I own a Verizon MVNO and do not have access to Verizon's proxy so I downloaded NOWWAP proxy. I have the proxy point to a customized WAP page by changing the URLREWRITE.TXT file:
http://homepage=http://wap.humpa.com/kiickmobileuser

Everything works perfect for my Motorola V3c models. However the LG4400 will not connect. Its homepage is http://www.openwave.com so in the URLREWRITE.TXT file I have:
http://www.openwave.com=http://wap.humpa.com/kiickmobileuser

I get a server no responding message on this handset.

I have uploaded the log file. You can see both phones connecting in but the LGE-TM540C/1.0 UP.Browser/4.1.26 returns the error. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dean,

Edit the WAPGW.INI file, and add Debug=Yes under the [WAPGW] header.

Then try connecting that LG phone again.

Reply back with the WAPDEBUG.LOG attached, which should show the data exchange with the phone.

Abandoned the effort to use these phones with internet. No place for a username/password in the phone so it would have had to be a open proxy.

Hi Dean,

Unfortunately that is very common.

Most of our installations do not have proxy authentication.

Instead, access is limited by either IP address restrictions (so that only clients within your assigned address range can connect), or requiring that we receive the MSISDN via a RADIUS accounting feed (if we don't receive a RADIUS accounting notification to tell us that a client has connected, we don't allow the connection).
