Hi. I am using the evaluation version of the gateway and i am looking for replacement gateway for my company. Everything is working well exept for icelandic letters on some wapsites and only on samsung moblie phones. Here is an example: http://wap.mbl.is . I have tried to change the mime settings on the gateway. | |||

Hi, Normally, a problem like this is caused by the page not having a proper encoding tag to specify the character ste that is being used. But I can see that your page has the following: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?> So that tells us that the character set is iso-8859-1. If this tag is not present, we default to utf-8. (Although there is a way to change that default.) I realise that there was a long delay before I responded to your message, so perhaps you added the "encoding" tag to your WML since the initial test? If not, I'd be interested in trying to troubleshoot this with you in more detail, and we could try some different approaches.
