As I'm running trials with the demo version this isn't a problem yet, but: Trials using WTLS will require the phone to accept certificates signed by an internal (unsupported) CA. How do I get that CA's certificate onto the phone? The documentation (T68i) just says that some WAP sites will install such certificates.

Paul, You need to copy the CA cert file on to a web server and then access it via a link from the WAP browser on the phone. The web server needs to return the content type for this file as: "application/vnd.wap.wtls-ca-certificate". - Kent Williams WAP3GX Support

Is a CA needed to support WTLS? Can the WAP3GX WLTS version do it's own certs? Just trying to figure out all the pieces we will need to get our project off the ground. |
