hello, I've installed the NOW.WAP to test some WAP services. i have also apache installed and running. i can browse my wap site on my phone (wap-jduval.homeip.net) using the default gateway(globe telecoms philippines). Now.wap is a WAP gateway, right? How can i configure NOW.WAP to accept connections from my phone(nokia 3650) and configure my phone to connect to my wapsite using NOW.WAP gateway. please help!!! | |||

Hi, 1. Make sure the server where you are running the Now.WAP application is assigned with an IP address accessable from the public Internet 2. Configure the Internet GPRS APN on your phone device (pay attention - not for WAP or MMS) 3. Configure the IP address of your Now.WAP Server as an IP address for WAP Gateway (if you are using WAP 1.x) or for HTTP PRoxy (if you are using WAP 2.0) and ports (9201 - for WAP 1.x or port configured for WAP2.0 Proxy, something like 8800 or 8080) on your phone device 4. Connect the WAP connection from your phone device to the desired web-site | |||
