NowSMS Lite supports only one modem. The full NowSMS product supports as many modems as your Windows system can recognize. (Note that the drivers for some USB modems will not allow more than one or two of the same modem to be recognized by the system, so it is often necessary with multiple modems to use different models and manufacturers to get the system to recognize.) | |||

You posted your question in the NowSMS Lite section of the forum, that is why I mentioned it. The Now SMS/MMS Gateway product is the regular product that supports multiple modems. The trial version supports a maximum of 30 messages per minute. For a single modem, the max speed varies depending on the modem, signal strength, and what the operator network will allow. Typically it will be 8 to 10 messages per minute, but some networks will allow 20 to 30 per minute. The SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG will record when messages are sent out. So you can check it for throughput. It records with time stamp showing seconds. Just note that each minute the trial will stop sending during that minute if it reaches 30 messages. (It will start again immediately the next minute. ) -- Des NowSMS Support |
