Hi all, I have downloaded both the NowSMS Gateway and NowSMS Lite software. I will have my Android device by tomorrow morning, which should serve as a Gateway, however, I wanted to find out how can I use the trial software to verify the ability to send SMPP message. Once I have my Android gateway set up on my device, is it straightforward from that point, or do I need to still find an SMPP server with a provider? Paul | |||

Hi Paul, Apologies for the delay in response, but I am not sure what you are wanting to use SMPP for. Do you have existing SMPP software that you are wanting to use with NowSMS? If yes, enable the SMPP server in NowSMS or NowSMS Lite, and assign a unique port number. Also define a user account under "SMS Users" with SMPP access enabled. From your SMPP client, connect to the SMPP port on NowSMS with the username and password for the account that you created. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
