I received some issues when sending sms with more than 160 chars, and the outbound queue shows Queued and Retry many times. However, when sending sms that is less than 160 chars has no issue. I am using the latest Now SMS/MMS Gateway Lite Edition (v2017.04.07) Status shown: HTTPSMSC: Connection failed. HTTP status code = 503. - NowSMSModem - 9xxxxxxx | |||

Hi, This is an unusual problem, so I'm not sure what to try. Can you verify that you can send a message longer than 160 characters in the messages app on the Android device. We are using an Android API that segments and sends the message, so it would appear that for some reason this is failing...which is odd. I’m sorry, but I don’t understand your response. Let me re-ask these questions: 1. Can you verify that you can send a message longer than 160 characters in the messages app on the Android device? 2.
