Hello there! My nowSMS was working fine, recently it has stops working I cant send any emails via sms. the only change which took place is upgrade of exchange server from 2000 to 2003. the original settings are there, I even add my NowSMS server as one of Servers which is allowed to relay in trying to make it work. If there is anyone out there knows what could be the problem, please help me. Thanks. | |||

Please Note: I am able to send e-mails from outlook to sms, but I cant send from sms to e-mail. I am new at this I need to trace where there problems is? between my smsc and nowsms or from exchange to Nowsms, How do I check this and solve the problem. Thanking you. | |||

I must have missed this posting back in June. For starters, you'd want to enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG and MMSCDEBUG.LOG in NowSMS, and forward those files to us, so that we could see what was going on. It's hard to guess what might be wrong. But the first thing I'd want to do is to look at the debug logs in the NowSMS server to see if it is receiving the messages. Assuming that NowSMS is receiving the SMS messages, and the 2-way command action is a "mailto:" link, then NowSMS would write an e-mail message to its MMSCOUT directory, and the MMSC service would route the e-mail via SMTP. -bn | |||

No I can't. This is the support site for the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product. We are an independent software developer, and we do not have any control or involvement in your mobile operator's picture messaging system. Sorry, but you'd need to contact your mobile operator for assistance. | |||
