I'm evaluating nowsms with a Nokia 6230 emulated com port over a bluetooth pairing. I'm trying to receive an MMS picture message sent from another 6230 to this one - is it even possible to receive the MMS notification across the phone's modem in this way? I was expecting to be able to capture the URL to fetch the message content from somehow. All help appreciated! | |||

No. Basically, when you use a phone as a GSM/GPRS modem, the MMS/WAP Push Client will always grab the MMS notification, and it will never be presented over the GSM modem interface. You can send MMS messages through the modem interface, but you cannot receive them. This is a limitation of using a phone as a GSM/GPRS modem device. -bn | |||
