Support, I own NowSMS 100 device license but when adding 44th android device I receive an error from MMSC, Error: Invalid response from MMSC. SMS is sent fine but MMS fails. If I remove the last android device, device #44. I'm then able to successfully send MMS. Once I add it back, MMS fail. Have you seen this before?

Hi Todd, What is the version of Windows? Is it a server edition or Windows 10? There is a concurrent TCP connection limit in non-server Windows 10 that could be the issue. What connection mode are the devices using to connect to the NowSMS server? (Remote direct where the device is configured to connect to the IP of the NowSMS server?) Regards, Des NowSMS Support

Also, I'm able to successfully send a MMS using the test function when receiving the Invalid response from MMSC error from the browser.

Hi Todd, That is interesting. We have been struggling to determine how this specific error "Invalid response from MMSC" could be related to the number of modems connected. Is it possible for you to enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG and MMSCDEBUG.LOG? I'd like to see if there is anything else unusual written to the debug logs when this error occurs. As these log files may contain sensitive info, please send them via e-mail to nowsmstech@nowsms.com with Attention: Des in the subject line of the e-mail. Regards, Des NowSMS Support

Hi Todd, We haven't seen any debug logs, so I'm not sure if you've made any progress on this issue, but I did want to follow-up ... If you have a virus scanner running on the server, try excluding NowSMS from any real-time processing. We have seen issues before where real-time scanners get overwhelmed by a larger number of active TCP/IP connections. We also have an experimental update that we think you should try. When we ported NowSMS to Linux, we found that we had to make some changes to our TCP/IP logic to avoid buffering errors. We have a theory that maybe a larger number of Android modems might lead to a buffering problems in Windows, so we have applied this same logic in the Windows version. Before we post this experimental update, I'd like to review debug logs to see if there is any suggestion that this might make a difference. Regards, Bryce Norwood NowSMS Support

Hey Dez I removed a few devices from NowSMS but will add them back tonight in order to replicate the error. Before adding the last device I will enable the debug files you asked for and send them your way via email. Todd

Hi Todd, Thanks. The debug logs helped us understand how to recreate the problem. We are in the process of testing an update to fix this issue. Regards, Des NowSMS Support

Hi Todd, We have posted an update to resolve this issue. The download link for the Windows update is https://nowsms.com/download/nowsms20210428.zip ... This update includes a full install that can be used to update an existing installation. A similar problem exists in the Linux version, and is fixed by the 2021.04.28 version. (The Linux update is only available as a beta at this moment. To enable beta updates, edit SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] header, add UpdateChannel=beta ... then download the update from the link at the top of the "Admin/System Configuration" page. Note that it may be necessary to reload the webpage several times before the update is detected.) Regards, Des NowSMS Support
