Hi, I have just installed a second MC35. It appears fine in the SMSC connection box, but it does not appear in all of the drop down boxes on other screens. For example, in the MMS Settings box it does not appear in the network connection box, but it does appear in the modem used box underneath. The same thing can be seen when setting up a route under MMSC routeing. This is a problem for me as I want to send MMS! Here is my smsgw.ini file. It seems strange to me that only 1 modem is listed up the top. Hi Gareth, Have you exited and re-entered the NowSMS configuration since adding this second modem? The reason I ask is because I believe some of these entries are cached in memory. -bn

Gareth, My advice above sounded a bit implausible, so I wanted to check it out for myself. But sure enough, if you add a new modem while the NowSMS configuration program is running, it will see the new modem to add it as a GSM modem, and it will add it to the "Modem Used" field in the MMS Receive settings, but not the "Network Connection" field. It does indeed show up if you exit the configuration program and re-enter it. -bn

That does solve my problem. Thanks for your help (as strange as it is !) Gareth |
