Hi,
I want to send MMS messages from one Emulator to another emulator using NOWSMS MMSC.
Is it possible to to do this by specifying the IP address of the PC connected to the LAN in the "to" field. Has anyone tried this?

Hi,

Unless you wrote the emulators, the chances of this working are slim. The reason for this is because the emulators from commercial vendors that I have seen do not actually listen for WAP Push over IP (which is how MMS notifications would be sent in a pure IP environment).

For more information on how to configure NowSMS to work in this environment, and some advice for how to determine if your emulator is even listening in the appropriate way, please see:

Is there any option by which I can generate SMIL messages from the web Interface of NowSMS ?
If not is there any other method?

Yes.

Include the SMIL as one of the attachments that get uploaded. Use a ".smil" extension.
