Hi, I'm a new user to this group. I've been using nowsms/mms in emulator environments. I've configured nowsms mmsc for sending notification as ip push(added [IPNotify] in MMSC.INI). Its working fine. But i can't able to receive delivery report. I think it is send by nowsms mmsc as sms push. Cud u please tell how to receive delivery push through ip? Please reply asap. sorry for earlier message. Hi Thanik, I can confirm that the delivery reports don't get routed to the client in this configuration. We don't attempt to deliver them via SMS, they are just discarded. Unfortnately, I'm not sure that we're going to be able to patch v5.51 to fix this. The upcoming NowSMS 2006 release (due out later this month) has more robust support in this area, and I know that both delivery reports and read receipt reports will get routed via the IPNotify interface in that version. But the IPNotify support in v5.51 was considerably more simplistic. -bn | |||

Cud u please tell how to use now smpp server also. I have tried running now smpp server. but also i can't able to receive delivery receipts. regards Thanik | |||

Hi Thanik, Routing MMS delivery reports to an IP address using the [IPNotify] settings is not supported in current releases of NowSMS. It will be supported in the upcoming NowSMS 2006 release. The current version is limited in that it only routes the MMS notifications over IP-based WAP Push. MMS delivery reports for [IPNotify] clients are discarded in the current release. In other words, not supported today. Will be supported in the future when NowSMS 2006 is released. When you are not using the [IPNotify] definition, MMS notifications and MMS delivery reports are delivered via WAP Push over SMS. I do not understand your question about SMPP. -bn | |||
