hello, my sharp gx12 can't send/receive MMS via NowSMS/MMS gateway but it working properly with Ericcson MMSC. Please help!! the nokia & sony handsets I tested with the NowSMS/MMS gateway are working properly. Therefore, I assume the gateway settings are correct. For the WAP push, my gx12 can download image/midi via NowSMS/MMS gateway. Is sharp gx12 supported by NowSMS/MMS gateway for send/recieve MMS???? thanks in advance.

I'd have to see a debug log to understand enough details of what is actually happening.

To enable the debug log, manually edit MMSC.INI, and under the [MMSC] section header, add Debug=Yes. Then restart the MMSC service.

Repeat your attempts with the GX12 ... then e-mail the MMSCDEBUG.LOG to nowsms@now.co.uk. (Or post it here, but I suspect it will be easier to look at via e-mail.)

Hi Bryce,

Thank you for your reply. I enabled debug log already but it can't capture the details of my GX12.

Andrew,

If no activity related to the phone is appearing in the debug log, then the phone isn't getting as far as making a connection to the MMSC.

It sounds like an issue with the MMS settings, or I suppose there could be a compatibility issue with the WAP gateway. I see that you're using WAP3GX. Try enabling its debug log ... manually edit WAPGW.INI, and under the [WAPGW] section header, add Debug=Yes. Then restart the gateway. Attempt to send and receive an MMS message with the GX12 ... then please e-mail the WAPDEBUG.LOG to nowsms@now.co.uk and I'll forward it to wap3gx support to take a look.
