We defined a VASP and told it to "Route via MM7" and chose some route for it. We told the NOWSMS to make this route a "Default Route" in the MMSC Routing tab. This VASP gets MMS's with an image and then it is supposed to process this image and send the processed image to a recipient cell-phone. The problem is that we send this image as an MMS again, and so instead of being sent to the cell-phone, it is directed back to the VASP via the default root... So, since this VASP is the default target of MMS's, we can never get an MMS to be sent out to a recipient cell-phone!! It is always in an infinite loop inside the MMSC... How can we solve this?? | |||

Hi, Without understanding what you're trying to accomplish, and more about your configuration, I don't know what to suggest. Essentially it is in an infinite loop, because that is what you've told it to do. By making that MM7 connection the "Default Route", this means that outbound messages are routed to that MM7 connection. If you don't want to route outbound messages to that MM7 connection, then you should not make it the "Default Route". -bn |
