hello, please can you help l have a samsung D500 on t-mobile. l have set up roaming as l travel daily all over the world. l can reveive text messages but carnt reply. Spoke to t-mobile and they said l should ring when lm aboard to work out the problem. l have tried this but im always stuck in a queue and its costing me money. Please can you help on this matter and possibly send me some settings so l can get my phone up and running. many thanks Lynn Rhodes | |||

Hi Lynn, Sorry, no I can't help you. This is the support forum the Now SMS/MMS Gateway software product. That said, I'd try to help you if I had any ideas ... but I don't. All I can think of is that maybe the SMSC phone number that is configured on your SIM is missing the "+" symbol for international access. Most phones have a configuration option under SMS to set your SMSC number ... this setting is normally pre-set on your SIM. Maybe it got edited, and you need to put it back to the correct setting for your operator. If it works ok when you are not roaming, my guess is that maybe the "+" character go stripped off of the front of it, allowing it to work when you are local ... but not when roaming. -bn | |||
