Hi am trying to send a mms from a erricson GR47 module to a handset using the MM1 interface of NowSMS.It seems to connect to my mmsc and upload the MMS, but I get "HTTP/1.0 500 Internal Server Error" after the mms has been uploaded. Can you guys please help me. Regards

Hi Dirk, I suspect you are using the wrong GPRS APN settings for connecting to the MMSC. The details for the 500 error being returned by the proxy indicate that the proxy could not connect to the MMSC. I see that you are connecting to a GPRS APN called "internetvpn", and that is suspect. Usually an APN with such a name would be used for internet connectivity with VPN support ... and most operator MMSCs are not accessible via the internet, only over a locked down GPRS connection. That said, the settings that I'm showing for Vodacom suggest you should use a GPRS APN of "internet". Have you tried that instead of "internetvpn"? Also, I show another thread from an old discussion here where they were successfully using "mms.vodacom.net" as the GPRS APN. So also give that a try ... in either case, 196.6.128.6 does seem to be the correct value for the WAP Gateway IP address. -bn | |||||
