I would like to set the MSISDNHeader for outbound routing (via MM1).

So far, I have seen in the documentation that MSISDN header can be set in the MMSC section of MMSC.ini, but it seems it does not apply for outbound routing. I have also tried to put MSISDNHeader=headername in the [Outbound MMS Routing] section, but it did not help.

Any ideas?

Hi Ivan,

We probably should add a facility for being able to insert additional custom headers for MM1, MM4 and MM7. So far, I haven't seen anywhere that there was an urgent need for this, so we haven't pushed the issue.

Are you making the MM1 connection via GPRS and a WAP gateway? Normally, the WAP gateway would insert the MSISDN header (and would strip it if present in the request).

Hi Bryce,

no, I want to send the messages directly to the MMSC without the WAP GW. Although not urgent, it would be nice to be able to set custom headers in the [Outbound MMS Routing] section. One of them should be the sender's MSISDN. Let me know if you implement it.

Ivan,

I doubt we'll see anything before the new year, but I'll put this in the development queue. A simple feature to read custom headers from a config file shouldn't be too difficult.
