Our trial license has expired and we are locked out of the console to view our configuration. How can we get the configuration to move to our newly licensed server? | |||

Hi David, The easiest thing to do is to copy over the NowSMS directory contents to the new server (exclude the EXE and DLL files if you want to move only configuration information). If you only want to move over configuration information, most of the configuration information is saved in SMSGW.INI. There is some other configuration information, such as user accounts which are stored in *.d2a and *.d2i files. (smsuser.d2? contains "SMS Users"; mmscusers.d2? & mmscalias.d2? contain "MMSC Users"; vaspout.d2? contains "MMSC Routing"; vaspin.d2? contains "MMSC VASP") Additional configuration for outbound MMSC routes ("MMSC Routing" definitions) is located in the VASPOUT subdirectory, which can be copied over to the new machine. Additional configuration for inbound MMSC connections ("MMSC VASP" definitions) is located in the VASPIN subdirectory, which can be copied over to the new machine.
