Hi Bryce, Recently, I use NowSMS(HTTP interface), and am using SMS of the CDMA2000 phone. When I send Voice Mail Notification by Web Interface, NowSMS packs 7bit characters. However, phone doesn't work correctly in this data that NowSMS output, because 7bit characters not packed in CDMA2000. Please output 7bit characters with the Text tag as much as "Send Text Message". I want the patch as soon as possible. | |||

Hi Nambu, Are you using the LongTextAsText=Yes setting under the [HTTP - host:port] section header? I seem to remember that we added this configuration option largely because of issues that you raised. It requires a version dated 2006.06.23 or later ... the latest patch is at http://www.nowsms.com/download/2006patch.zip. Basically, with this LongTextAsText=Yes setting for an HTTP SMSC, no 7-bit packing is performed for messages that include UDH. -bn | |||
