Hi I installed trail version v5.0 downloading from nowsms website. Configure SMPP connection, SMPP connection test is OK. Try to send simple SMS text message using the web interface but nothing happens, even the show stats on the button on the SMSC tab doesn't show anything, this was working fine when I was using older version. pls help me ASAP

The SMSWEB-yyyymmmdd.LOG file only indicates that a message was submitted into NowSMS. It doesn't indicate that any attempt has been made to deliver the message. How about the SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG? Or preferably, I'd want to see a debug log, or an excerpt from the debug log. To put the gateway into debug mode, manually edit SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] section header, add Debug=Yes. Then restart the gateway service. NowSMS will produce an SMSDEBUG.LOG and SMPPDEBUG.LOG file as it runs. E-mail those files to nowsms@now.co.uk (or post here, just take caution that the SMPPDEBUG.LOG will include a username and password in the bind request). What version of NowSMS were you running previously? I haven't seen any problems like this in people moving up to v5.0. (We did have people who encountered problems with SMPP when upgrading to v4.20.) -bn | ||||
