Hi Brian,
I'm trying to send MMS from my mobile phone (A780) to NowSMS MMSC over GPRS link provided by my local carrier. However MMSC reject the message by saying that the user not defined. I used my carrier's WAP Gateway and NOWSMS MMSC address in my phone setup.

I defined 221.130.33.39 as my VASP account name with no password.

2006-10-21 16:43:30,MMSIN,221.130.33.39,,,User Not Defined,FAILED

Here is the log I got at NowSMS MMSC port 8081:

Bryce,
With the information you provided in your other communications, I sort out the problem. So no need to look at it.
"If you want to have an MM1 client submit MMS messages via a VASP account instead of a standard URL account, configure the MMS client on the device to use an MMSC URL of http://server.ip.address:port/mm1/username=password (username and password are the account name and password for the account defined in the "MMSC VASP" dialog)."

Hi Fei Ye,

Also, if you want to submit with a standard user account (defined in "MMSC Users"), then you would use a URL of http://server.ip.address:port/username=password.

This is required, because otherwise there is no other identifying information for the user.

(In mobile operator deployments, the user identity can be passed in an HTTP header that is inserted by an operator proxy.)
