I'm trying to receive MMS messages using the Multitech EDGE USB modem, standard Multitech drivers. The SIM is enabled for MMS, and the MMS settings are appropriate for the Cingular MMSC gateway. I do see the .SAR in my SMS-IN directory, but no assets are delivered to MMS-IN. Any thoughts?

HMMM- It just started working- I haven't changed anything. Stand by and I'll try to figure out what's going on.

OK, It seems to be sporadic. Does the Multitech USB modem need to be installed as a standard 33600 bps Modem? If so, how do I get it to bind to the logical port (COM 4) that the USB driver is using?

OK, when I install the 33600 modem drivers, the connection is now stable.

I wish I could understand what the problem is with recent versions of the Multitech supplied modem driver, but using the "Standard 33600 bps Modem" driver does seem to be the solution.

Also, make sure that "SMS Message Storage" is set to be "Direct to Modem".
