Hi,
We are using NowSMS to test our MMS application. We use MM7 interface to submit MMS message to the Now SMS.
We send HTTP 1.1 submit request to NowSMS but we get http 1.0 response back.
Let me know if it is possible to get http 1.1 response back for sumit request
thanks
Vinay

Hi Vinay,

Sorry, but the MM7 receiver only supports HTTP 1.0. That's why it responds with an HTTP 1.0 response.

Well, actually it does understand all mandatory HTTP 1.1 features, but it does not support "keep-alive" sockets. So I am not sure that there is any technical reason that we are returning an HTTP 1.0 response ... we just are.

I am curious, why does this HTTP version number response cause a problem for you?

Hi Bryce
The reason we need is that the API we are using to receive MM7 response messages looks specific for HTTP/1.1 string to process the response from MMSC

Vinay,

Give me a few days, and I'll see if we can make a change. I don't see any technical reason why an "HTTP/1.1" response shouldn't be returned. But we need to review this in fuller detail.

Follow-up ... a little more than a few days, but this has been implemented, complete with HTTP/1.1 Keep-alive support.
