hello, i try to send MMS over a GSM modem (sending SMS over UCP is working fine). i have the trial version of nowSMS running on my developer machine. i have configured a siemens mc35i as outbound MMS route. i've marked this as "Default Route". "Default Sender Address" is blank, and "Allow Sender Address override" UNchecked as suggested. From the logs i have the impression, that the connection is working correctly. there is an answer from the server but it is "Not Delivered". i also made sure that i can use the same SIM in a mobile phone to send MMS to the number i tried and as you can see i tried both numberformats (+4178... and 004178...) any ideas what could be wrong? the operator of the SIM card is sunrise switzerland. best regards patrick

additional information: i suspect it's the settings for "Server address" i had: "212.035.034.075" which resulted in the timeout so i switched to: http://mmsc.sunrise.ch:9201 which resulted in "Couldn't reach the indicated web server." so now i tried: http://mmsc.sunrise.ch which is resulting in a "HTTP/1.0 400 Bad Request" the sunrise website says: Server http://mmsc.sunrise.ch IP-Adresse 212.035.034.075 Port 9201 Verbindungstyp GPRS GPRS settings APN mms.sunrise.ch username mms password mms how do i translate this into now SMS settings? the working settings from my sonyericsson W800i are: Message server: http://mmsc.sunrise.ch internet profile -- proxy address: 212.035.034.075 port number: 8080 username: password: data account -- APN: mms.sunrise.ch username: mms password: mms best regards patrick | |||||

OK, I finally did it! the clue was not to use dialup. i think i was going that way because of some simens documentation... anyway: here is the complete sunrise switzerland MMS settings for nowSMS route via: MM1 server address: http://mmsc.sunrise.ch/ [v] use specific network connection: modem: standard 19200 modem wap gateway: 212.35.34.75 modem used: standard 19200 modem APN: mms.sunrise.ch name: mms password mms so it should look like this (on a swissgerman windows that is):  best regards patrick PS: and you can use +417yxxxxxxx *and* 00417yxxxxxxx numbers in the nowsms webinterface for MMS (but only 00417yxxxxxxx for SMS if you use swisscom LA over UCP!) | |||||
