Hi

I have been trying to set the gateway up to send and receive MMS messages using a T-mobile SIM.

I am using a Sierra wireless 750 aircard and have set it up so that the gateway uses the aircards network driver as opposed to it's modem driver. The aircard can establish a GPRS connection, but when I run the gateways self test it, returns a 'unable to connect to WAP gateway' message. I am quite sure that the WAP address is correct as I copied it straight from my phones settings.

I noticed on the phone that there was a IP port setting of 9201, should that be entered into the gateway somewhere?

James,

Those settings look correct to me. (Port 9201 is assumed, as that is the connection-oriented WAP port.)

I'd suggest downloading the latest patches (see http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/53/1948.html).

Then try again, and if it is still failing, try creating a file named MMSWAP.INI and add the following contents:

[MMSWAP]
Debug=Yes

Exit the configuration program, and then go in and try the connection again.

NowSMS should create a file named MMSWAPDEBUG.LOG. I would be curious to see that file (although it might not show us much of anything).

Also, if you issue the command IPCONFIG from a command window, what is displayed? I'm wondering if the GPRS connection is active. Make sure the Aircard is configured to automatically connect to the correct APN (general.t-mobile.uk).

Thanks Bryce

Discovered that I was inadvertantly turning off the GPRS connection when I shut down the watcher.
