I want to set up NowSMS/MMS gateway to receive both SMS and MMS. So I configured NowSMS/MMS gateway so that it routes the received SMS to a SMPP local user, and MMS to a MM7 account. But when i sent MMS to the GSM modem attached to NowSMS, it routed MMS notification to SMPP local user, so i couldn't receive MMS. Could anyone tell me why ? And please tell me which configuration will fix my requirement. Thanks. | |||

Hi Khanh, Yes, that is a conflict that we have recently been made aware of. If the received SMS messages are being routed to a local user account, and that account is actively connected via SMPP, then MMS notifications will be pushed to the SMPP client the same as regular SMS messages. An update which holds back MMS notifications so that they are not routed to the SMPP client (when "Receive MMS" is enabled for the modem/SMSC definition) is available for download at http://www.nowsms.com/download/20070409.zip. -bn | |||

Hi Bryce, Thanks for the patch update. But problem issued. After installed the update patch, i cannot connect to WAP gateway any longer. If i reinstalled NowSMS and not installed update patch, i can connect WAP gateway again. Could you tell me why ? Thanks | |||

Hi Bryce, I found out that the patch you packaged on 2007/03/15 still can make WAP gateway connection, but the one packaged on 2007/04/09 cannot. Please review. Thanks | |||

Hi Khanh, I got your e-mail on this as well. We did make one small change to the connect parameters for connecting to a WAP gateway. Your operator's gateway must not like the parameter change. I've posted another update http://www.nowsms.com/download/20070411.zip. -bn | |||
