I continue in my goal to develop a system which takes in picture messages, analyses them and returns SMS. Having acquired a SAMBA55 GPRS modem I can now send MMS and get them stored on the laptop (Thanks Bryce). However they are rather small (101 x 75. In fact to small for us to do any processing. I know there are UAPRof's and NowSMS has a UAPRof directory. However there are only 2 obscure Nokia phones in there as .xml. My SAMBA55 is not there I have tried different NowSMS setting relating to image coding and there is no difference made. The SMIL file associated with the image specifies a 101 x 75 image size. Now I want to get the biggest possible image (it's a 2Mpixel camera). How can I either (a) persuade NowSMS to download a bigger image? Is there a default file/setting I can use or (b) how to create a .xml for my modem that NowSMS will accept. I have looked though the forum and made little progress. I am on a Vodafone PAYG although I have tries a Vodiafone contract SIM as well. When I get it working I will post the deom which takes MMS in, returns SMS and stores the image on a website written in VBS as a complete Demo for others to use.
