I have installed the free trial version of NowSMS and checking if it can meet out requirements.I am using Sony Ericcson 750 cell phone model as a modem.

I can send SMS successfully. However I am not able to send MMS. I have done the necessary configurations and tested the connection successfully. After sending the MMS it shows up in the SERVICE menu MMS Processed(User) and sometime later in MMS SENT(VASP). However the recipient hasn't recived it yet.

The operator MMSC is accepting the message without reporting any errors.

However, based upon what we have seen with some operator MMSCs, there may be some parameter settings that could be causing the problem you describe.

In the "MMSC Routing" definition:

Make sure the "Default Sender Address" field is blank, and that the "Allow Sender Address Override" checkbox is NOT checked.

There was also another issue in older versions of NowSMS....there were two "Login Name"/"Password" fields, one for the GPRS APN, and one for the "MMSC" itself. Setting a value for these parameters for the "MMSC" often caused problems. Newer versions of NowSMS only allow a "Login Name"/"Password" to be set for the GPRS APN, which is ok .... but I mention this in case you are running an older version.

If none of this makes a difference ... enable the "MMSWAPDEBUG.LOG" on the "Serial #" page of the NowSMS configuration. Try sending an MMS message again, and then post the content of that log file so that we can see if that provides any clues.

Oh ... and one more thing ... before you do that, it might be a good idea to remove the SIM from your modem ... put it into a phone and verify that the phone can send an MMS message ok using that SIM ... just in case it is a problem with the SIM or account.
