Hi there.

I've been trialing this software for a customer and I think it is just about what we are looking for although I've encoutered a problem...

In New Zealand we have two networks, Vodafone (GPRS) and Telecom (CDMA)

The requirement of the customer is that the MMS messages we send gets sent to both providers (as the customer base is roughly 50/50)

If i send an MMS message from my vodafone phone to a telecom phone it sends fine. If I hook that same GPRS phone up to the NowSMS software the telecom phone receives mulitple garbage messages.

In desperation I tried adding a telecom (CDMA) modem to the software but I think this idea was doomed from the start!

Is this a solvable issue? Does anyone know of any tricks?

Thanks

Andrew

How are you sending the MMS messages? Do you have NowSMS configured to act as a direct delivery MMSC (this is the default setup, and this is what it sounds like NowSMS is trying to do)? Or do you have NowSMS configured to send MMS messages over the modem via the opertor MMSC?

Basically, you want to configure NowSMS to send MMS messages over the modem via the operator MMSC. There is some background information here: http://www.nowsms.com/howmmsworks.htm and http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Connecting_to_operator_MMSC.htm
