Does the NowSMS have a capacity limit for incoming MMS messages?

Is the license limit anyhow related to Now's capacity for processing incoming messages?

Does the inbound port time out?

Why else would certain messages arrive (into the Now platform directly from the Wireless Operator MMS-C platform) in a very short time (less than 30 secs), while others take very long (6 min or more)?

I am timing the messages from the moment they leave the handset to the moment they arrive to the Now platform.

The MMS messages are sent from a controlled number of testing handsets. It's not like there are lots of handsets out there with various behaviors. I know the handsets are correctly configured. They sometimes send long messages (60 KB or more), and other times they send short messages (less than 60 KB).

I'd need more information to answer your questions.

There are no size or capacity limit issues that I am aware of.

But when I say that I would need more information, I mean that I do not know how you are interfacing with the MMSC? It is over a modem? Direct TCP/IP connection using MM7?
