Hi, i just installed the SmsNow 5 eval. The sms part works perfectly but when i send an mms to a nokia n-gage i receive a text message with the Binary data the the "application/vnd.wap.mms-message" the more unreadable text and the the http://ipadress///file.mms. Any idea about why can this is happenning Thanks | |||

Somebody can help me with this. By the way a have a TDMA cellular network but i was thinking that at least the notification message has to arrive properly..Via another carrier Smsc | |||

Hi Victor, How is the TDMA network involved in your configuration? I thought the Nokia N-Gage was a GSM only device. It sounds like attributes of the binary message are getting lost in the transmission. You'll see this type of behaviour if the UDH (user data header) indicator is not set in the message. And that is the type of flag that could get lost if the message was routed from TDMA to a GSM network. Can you explain how TDMA is involved in your configuraiton? -bn |
