Hi, We are using NowSMS to send MMS message from our app to the Service Provider network. We send messages to NowSMS via MM7 and NowSMS sends messages to SP network via MM1 using gprs modem. Now we want to configure Now SMS to send Delivery Report Req to our application. Can somebody give me idea on what all I need to configure in NowSMS such that it can send Delivery report to our application via MM7 on a IP and port. your help will be much appreciated Thanks Vinay | |||

Apologies for not responding to this message in a timely fashion. But I wanted to answer this for anyone who might search this thread in the future. Your MM7 application needs to be defined in the "MMSC Routing" so that NowSMS has a route for delivering messages to your application. Then in the "Receive MMS Settings" for your modem definition, there is an option to route all received messages via an MM7 connection. All messages and delivery receipts that are received via the modem will get routed to your application. The only problem that I see is that in this particular configuration, NowSMS is not tracking the MM7 message id properly. So, while you will receive a delivery notification, the message id in that notification will NOT match the message-id that you received when you originally submitted the message via MM7. That is an issue that we will have to look into for future versions. -bn | |||
