We recently changed our phone which is connected to nowsms to a t39. Whereas before nowsms would take up very little processor time, it now is contantly using 20 - 50 % of the processor, and is probably the biggest hog on the entire machine. It is to the point where php scripts which used to run fine now have begun to timeout.

Does anyone havea reason or similar issues or workaround?

Ok solution. Nowsms apparently runs very badly if there are messages in the que. eg a message with no defined keyword. I just emptyed the que and instantly nowsms took 0% cpu time.

This is a bug not a feature!!

John,

Could you please explain what you mean by this?

I'm unclear what queue you are referring to. You mention a message not having a defined keyword, which I would suspect is a reference to received messages and "2-way" keywords. In those cases NowSMS just renames the message file and does not process it. So I cannot see that being an issue.

Please explain more details. If there is a bug, we'd like to find it and fix it, but I need more information about what queue you emptied, and what keywords you are referring to.
