We are using NowSMS with Web Interface to send OMA/OTA settings to moble phones. We have some trouble. Some models does not support new "Send OMA OTA Settings (OMA Provisioning Content)". Instead we had to use "Send WAP OTA Settings (old Nokia/SonyEricsson OTA)". We need to distinguish the mobile models so we can send settings accordingly. Is there any way to learn which models support the new settings? thanks, | |||

In practice, it is mostly older models that only support the "Send WAP OTA Settings". Nokia started supporting OMA Provisioning Content in 2002. I believe SonyEricsson made the switch in 2003. So it basically depends how old the phone is. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
