i've tried several times to install but the response has always been "corrupt installation detected"- somebody help me! | |||

Hi Victor, That error usually happens if the EXE download is incommplete. Sometimes, software like download accelerators can cause corrupt downloads. I'd suggest clearing the cache in your browser (if you're using Internet Explorer, press Alt-Tools-Internet Options, and you can delete your "temporary internet files" from there), as the corrupt download might be in your cache, so that every time you try again, rather than re-downloading, your browser is simply loading the broken version from its cache. If that still doesn't work ... try a direct download of the latest update which is in a ZIP file instead of a self-installing EXE.
