Hi,

I’m using the MMSC service to send sms through SMTP. It works fine, but I have found the following issue:

First, I send an E-mail to phonenumber@smsdomain and this message is delivered OK
Then, when I receive the reply, the domain appears like this: phonenumber.sms@mmsdomain.

If I reply this last message received (sending an E-mail to phnenumber.sms@mmsdomain) it takes a long time to be delivered or some times its not delivered al all.

Is it possible to receive a reply with the smsdomain: phonenumber@smsdomain?

If it’s not possible to do this, can you please tell me which is the best program configuration to make this process applicable?

I will be waiting for your reply.

Thanks a lot for your support.

Regards
}

The spam posting reopened this thread ... which it appears we never replied to.

To answer this question, we'd need more details on the configuration. It is not clear to me how this reply is getting routed back out to SMTP with this "phonenumber.sms@mmsdomain" return address.

Is a 2-way command with a "mailto:" link being used? It should use the "smsdomain" for this.

What is the version of NowSMS?
